Is Derayah Certified?
Derayah comply with Capital Market Law and is licensed by Capital Market Authorities (CMA). With the license number 08109-27 recieved on 23/6/2005. Derayah is authorized to conduct the following activities:

1. Dealing.
2. Managing.
3. Custody.
4. Advising.

All securities and security markets related responsibilities and tasks are held by authorized employees of Derayah, and by “Authorized” we mean that they all are certified by CMA and are qualified to pass the Capital Market Exam (CME1).
What does Derayah mean?
Derayah is Arabic for knowledge. It represent the key ailment that we believe to be afflicting retail investors "lack of knowledge".
And that's the reason for which our venture was established to "Empowering the individual investor with the freedom to choose your investment easily and intelligently".
Is Derayah Sharia compliant?
Derayah only provides its clients with Sharia compliant investment products. In fact, Sharia compliance is the most important criteria that Derayah uses when screening and selecting the Mutual Funds it distributes.
Where are Derayah’s branches located?
Derayah is unique in allowing its clients the ability to perform everything, from opening accounts to making investment transactions to receiving support and advice, either over the internet or via phone from the convenience of their home, business or wherever they may be. What are your working hours?
Derayah Customer Contact Center can be reached from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.

Why should I invest in multiple funds?
Investors aim at achieving the highest returns possible from their investments while maintaining the lowest risk exposure possible. This is usually achieved through diversification. Diversification helps you reduce risk of loss while enabling you to capture most of the market’s gains (kind of like the saying "don’t put all your eggs in one basket").

The more you allocate your investments across different asset classes, different markets and different sectors and industries, the better your financialb situation. Becuase we in Derayah provide you with all mutual funds from different providers, we allow you to diversify your investments,hence, achieve your objectives while minimizing risk.
How many funds does Derayah manage?
Derayah provides a wide range of investment funds to its customers.

Derayah manages its own funds along with distributing other asset managers funds.
How can I know what funds are good for me?
Using the Investment Planner and Fund Information features that provides you with fund search tools, you can know which funds suits you the best, also, you can contact our financial advisors to help you in choosing the funds that suits your needs.
What are the minimums to subscribe to a fund?
The minimum investment requirements often differ from fund to fund. Usually, Derayah applies a lower minimum than the find providers applies (depends on the fund). This is one of the advantages you get when subscribing to the funds through Derayah.

Do you offer advice?
Yes. We offer financial advice that gives you easy-to-follow online recommendations on the optimal allocations of your asset across different types of investments.

You also have access to a registered and qualified Financial Advisor over the phone to provide you with more personalized 1-to-1 advice when needed.
How can I make an appointment with a Financial Advisor?
An appointment with a Financial Advisor can be made by calling our call center.
A Customer Service Representative will arrange for a suitable appointment for the Financial Advisor to contact you.

Are your Financial Advisors qualified? How can I know I get a good advice?
Our financial advisors have been selected using a sophisticated recruiting process with extremely high standards. In addition to the high selection standards, our Financial Advisors have gone through rigorous training. They are registered with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and have all passed the CME-1 exam, which is a requirement to provide financial and investment advice.

Our Financial Advisors represent a wealth of experience in the Investment industry and would be happy to work with you to determine your next steps based on your needs.
How long does it take to open an account?
It shouldn't take you more than 15 min to fill-in the application to open an account through Derayah website or by calling our Customer Services Center 920024433.
What are the required documents to open an account?
The document requirements differ depending on your legal status. In general, to activate your account initially you should send a signed copy of your national ID to Fax: 012998071 or Email: support@derayah.com and you will be able to start using your portfolio.

After your first money transfer process to your investment account in Derayah, you will receive a call from one of the Delivery companies (Fedex, Aramex, Clex) to get the rest of the needed documents signed (Agreement document and client information documents).

What is the minimum legal age that allows me to open an account?
There is no minimum legal age with Derayah as you can open an account to minors as long as they have consent from their parents or legal guardians.
Can I use Wassel as my mailing address?
Yes you can.
Do I need a Saudi bank account to open an account with Derayah?
Yes, if you are Saudi or a Saudi resident. But for non Saudis living outside KSA, they can use any of the forigner banks approved by Derayah.
Is my money safe?
Yes, it is absolutely safe. Your money is held with the ANB (Arab National Bank) in a separate and dedicated account for you, and Derayah has no authority over it.
Thus, Derayah's accounts as a corporate and its clients' accounts are completely separate.
How can I get my money back?
Using the Cash Transfer section located under the Accounts section of the user’s page you can transfer your money to your registered bank account,
therefore get your money back in a convenient way as follows:

1. Go to Transfer in Accounts section.
2. In Transfer page, click on the bank transfer tab.
3. Choose your bank account from the accounts dropdown.
4. Specify the amount to be transferred in the field.
5. Click on transfer.
How can I get my statements?
Statements will be automatically sent to the email address we have on file on a quarterly basis.

Where is the location of Derayah?

If I start using Derayah services and I encountered big losses, will Derayah compensate?
Derayah provides you with all the tools you need to facilitate your investment but can't prevent any potential losses.
How can I wire money into my account?
After you complete the registration you will be given your Derayah account number to transfer cash to (the account is in ANB). You can transfer or deposit money from any current account to your Derayah investment account.
What happens if I wire money from a different bank account than the predefined one?
You can transfer or deposit money from any current account to your Derayah investment account. And it is not required to be the same account that you defined in your application form.
Is the ANB account that you provided me under my name? (Is the DERAYAH account that you provided me under my name?)
Yes. However, this Arab National Bank (ANB) account is a subsidiary account of Derayah’s main ANB collection account. Therefore, when defining the beneficiary to transfer cash to your Derayah account it is important to define the main beneficiary name as “Derayah Financial” and the account number with your own unique Derayah IBAN that was sent to you. Please note that each client has a unique account number and this account number is identified under the client’s name. Any transaction from the client’s side into this account number will be identified as an amount transferred by the client, and the amount would be credited to his or her dedicated account at Derayah.
How can I deposit money into my Derayah Account?
There are 2 easy ways to deposit money into your Derayah Account:

(1) Online bank-to-bank transfer,
(2) Phone-banking request for bank-to-bank transfer, or
(3) By visiting one of your bank’s branches.

Using your unique IBAN provided to you, you must request your bank to define a new beneficiary under the name “Derayah Financial” and your own unique Derayah IBAN. Once the new beneficiary has been activated by your bank, you may transfer any amount to your Derayah account.
Can I deposit cash into my Derayah account?
CMA regulations prohibit us from accepting cash at any of our outlets or our partners’ outlets. Clients are advised to request their respective banks for a bank-to-bank transfer via online or phone-banking.
Do you accept cheques?
Yes, if the cheque was signed and issued in the presence of a Derayah Financial Advisor. CMA regulations prohibit us from accepting any cheques that were issued without a Derayah Financial Advisor witness.
I went to (ANB) bank and they did not identify the bank account you gave me, why is that?
Your Derayah cash account is a subsidiary account of Derayah’s main Arab National Bank (ANB) collection account. Therefore, when defining the beneficiary to transfer cash to your Derayah account it is important to define the main beneficiary name as “Derayah Financial” and the account number with your own unique Derayah IBAN. Please note that each client has a unique account number and this account number is identified under the client’s name. Any transaction from the client’s side into this account number will be identified as an amount transferred by the client, and the amount would be credited to his or her account at Derayah. Also, you must inform the bank that the type of account sent to you by us is an(investment account) and not a current account.
What happens after I transfer money to my Derayah account?
Once a deposit has been made to your unique Derayah IBAN, it will be reflected on your online Derayah investment account balance and you can then start investing.
Are there any income funds in Derayah?

How do I open an account?

Registration:

Can I complete my registration in stages?
Yes, as soon as you choose your username and password you can easily pause the application at any time and once you want to resume your registration, simply click on the “Open an Account” button again and then you can click the “Resume Registration” button and log in with your username and password to complete your previous registration.
Can I open an account directly online?
Yes, you can start now by clicking on the Open An Account button at the top of the screen.
Can I open an account without transferring money?
Yes, but you will need to transfer money to start benefiting from the full services of Derayah, like trading or subscribing to funds. Also, you will not be able to benefit from the Real -Time Prices service till you transfer money.

Fees and Charges:

Is there an annual fee for opening an account with Derayah?
No. There are no annual fees to open an account with Derayah.
Is there a minimum amount to open an account?
No, there are no minimums to open an account with Derayah.

Financial Advisors:

What does the financial advisor do? Does he do regular follow up with me?
The financial advisor will talk to you to get to know you, your goals, your investment background and based on that will assess your risk tolerance and determine the suitable investment plan and asset allocation for you to achieve your goals. He/she will follow up with you if needed.

Research:

Is the information in the research center trusted?
Of course. All information published in Derayah website is trusted and researches are conducted by reputable firms. You will find the resource of each research written beside it.

How can I cross market trade?
As part of Derayah’s seamless access to markets, traders can buy and sell using a single account; traders don’t need to juggle between different account and logins for cross market trading.

Traders can always convert their Saudi Riyals to other markets currencies and trade with comfort using the securities currency. However, if trader do not have enough balance of that specific currency at the time of trade, then Derayah will provide you with a baying power that consider your balances in other currencies.
What’s Buying Power?
Buying power is a facility provided by Derayah that allows traders to utilize the collective value of their cash portfolio amounts across markets.

As examples:

Example 1: Trader 1

SAR Cash Account: SAR 50,000
AED Cash Account: AED 0

If this trader wants to buy in the Emirati market then Derayah allows him to buy up to the "Cross Market Limit" (currently SAR 30,000).

Example 2: Trader 2

SAR Cash Account: SAR 50,000
AED Cash Account: AED 50,000

In this situation Trader has a buying power of AED 80,000 (AED 50,000 + Cross Market Limit of 30,000 from SAR Cash Account).
Example 3: Trader 3

SAR Cash Account: SAR 10,000
AED Cash Account: AED 50,000

In this situation Trader 3 has a buying power of AED 60,000 (AED 50,000 + SAR Cash Account Value of 10,000). Although the Cross Market Limit is 30,000 Trader 3 only has SAR 10,000 and can use that amount. Please note that Derayah does NOT provide credit for trading and although the Cross Market Limit is 30,000 the Trader only has SAR 10,000 in his Cash Account and can only use that amount towards his buying power.
Is there a limit when trading across markets?
Derayah provides you with a cross market limit of SAR 30,000 or its equivalent in other currencies when trading across markets considering your balances in different currencies.

This limit may be increased depending on the desired markets and based on your trading volume.

How come my AED cash account or USD cash account appears to be higher on Complete View Report than on Buying Power?
Blocked amounts from an outstanding order will still appear on Complete View Report until order execution, thus a variance will exist between the amount appearing on Buying Power and the amount appearing in Complete View Report.
How many days does it take for me to transfer my cash from Saudi Riyals to other currency, and vice versa?
Transferring money from Riyal to any other currency or any other currency to Riyal takes half an hour in the official working hours.
What’s the difference between limit and market price types?
Limit Price:
To avoid buying or selling a stock at a price higher or lower than you wanted, you need to place a limit price order rather than a market price order. A limit price order is an order to buy or sell a security at a specific price. A buy limit order can only be executed at the limit price or lower, and a sell limit order can only be executed at the limit price or higher.

Market Price:
A market price order is an order to buy or sell a stock at the current market price.
What’s the difference between FAK and FOK?
Fill Or Kill (FOK):
An order to fill a transaction immediately and completely or not at all.

Fill And Kill (FAK):
An order to immediately execute against resting orders. If the order cannot be fully filled, the remaining balance is cancelled. A minimum quantity can be specified. If the specified minimum quantity cannot be filled, the order is cancelled.
